Winter Greens/  Holiday Wreaths

In mid-November, we start cutting greens to custom make holiday wreaths and swags for the many customers that annually order their personalized Holiday wreaths from us.  It's become a family holiday tradition for many of our customers, and we love to be part of their decorative celebrations. Our Holiday wreaths are unique for the dried flower, herb and pod/cone/stick accents that we incorporate into them.  Wreaths, Swags, Candled Arrangements-these are all popular and available.

We offer 5 different types of Holiday wreaths, though you're own imagination is happily accommodated as well-  there are few limits to what we can do to customize a wreath for you.  Wreath diameters range from 16 - 48 inches, with the 16" being the standard size.  Generally, we take orders for Holiday Wreaths at our local Farmers Markets and this website in the fall and deliver them on a specific day to your area the first week in December.  These wreaths are also sold at the various Craft and Holiday shows we attend during the late fall months (See 'Calendar').

The 5 types of wreaths are:

"Rustic and Wild"-  fresh green base with accents of sumac, berries, dogwood buds,                                 cones/pods and white flowers. 

"Traditional"-  fresh green base with red and white floral accents as well as cones/pods.

"Holy Night"-  fresh green base with purple, blue and white floral accents and                                        cones/pods.

"Sunny"-   fresh green base with sunflowers, red berries and other red-yellow accents,                   plus cones/pods.

"Festive"-  Any and all colors on a fresh green base with berries/cones/pods. 

                 A "Mexican" joyous tone.

The wreaths often stay green for 5-6 months until spring- no kidding! Customers often report that birds have built nests in them, mandating that they have to leave them on their front doors till May when the babies have fledged! Of course, the birds like the wreaths-they provide shelter for nesting and a food source from the cockscombs, wheat, grasses, pine cones, and pods used in the wreaths.

Bows are wired ribbon and compliment the look of the wreaths-   Let us know if you want a bow-   some people like an entirely 'natural look' with no bow.   These wreaths truly are all-winter wreaths, so consider them a lovely decoration for the entire cold season.

We enjoy customizing wreaths, so ask for something, and we'll do our best to create the look you would like to have. Orders should be placed by mid-November so that we'll have your wreath ready by the first week in December.
