Dried Wreaths

Throughout the growing season, we harvest suitable flowers and herbs for drying in the loft of our barn.   By the fall, the upstairs loft is loaded and a vision of amazing beauty. With these flowers and herbs, we create wreaths, dried bouquets, peacock fans, culinary herbal chains, swags and more. They are generally for sale at our farmers' markets in September and October, at craft shows in November and December and at the winter markets that we participate in.  Special orders are always welcome.

The Drying Rack

As with our fresh bouquets, the dried products are created according to color and texture. Each piece has a "feeling"-- some are light and airy, some heavier, some more feminine or masculine. Our style has gone through so many evolutions over the years, we've become pretty adept at many different looks-  Share with us what you might have in mind...

Large Dried Wreath

Typical dried ingredients include: lambs ear, statice, sunflowers, hydrangeas, artemisia, straw flowers, cocks combs, okra, lavender, rosemary, thyme, purple basil, oregano, sage. Dried stems of okra, curly willow, and pussy willow provide wonderful lines.

Dried Wreath

'Everlasting wreath' is not a misnomer! Keeping these dried products out of the sun allows them to last a very long time...years, in fact.  All culinary herbs are grown organically, with no sprays, herbicides, or chemicals. They are aesthetic for decorating and deliciously usable for cooking!
